Dark Brahma Pullet
The Dark Brahma is a stunning and majestic heritage breed known for its impressive size, calm temperament, and beautifully detailed plumage. With intricate black, silver, and white feather patterns and signature feathered legs and feet, the Dark Brahma is one of the most eye-catching breeds you can add to your flock.
Despite their large size, Dark Brahmas are exceptionally gentle, quiet, and friendly, making them wonderful for families, beginners, and peaceful mixed flocks. They are very cold-hardy thanks to their dense feathering and typically remain steady layers even during the cooler months. Hens lay 150–200 medium to large brown eggs per year and are known for being good mothers.
Brahmas grow more slowly than many breeds, but their docile personalities, striking appearance, and hardiness make them a rewarding and popular choice for backyard flocks and small farms.
