Jubilee Orpington
The Jubilee Orpington is an exceptionally rare and breathtaking English breed known for its rich mahogany plumage beautifully speckled with cream, black, and gold. Their unique, jewel-like coloring makes them one of the most ornamental and sought-after Orpington varieties—an absolute standout in any flock.
Beyond their beauty, Jubilee Orpingtons are beloved for their gentle, calm, and friendly temperament. Often compared to the Buff Orpington in personality, they are incredibly docile and well-suited for families, children, and beginner poultry keepers. Their full, fluffy feathering and heavier body make them excellent cold-weather birds that thrive in a variety of climates.
Hens lay 160–200 medium to large light-brown eggs per year and tend to be steady, reliable layers. While not the most prolific breed, they make up for it with their affectionate nature, easy handling, and show-quality looks.
