Started Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Pullet
Pullets are 14-20 weeks old and with the proper diet and care, should be laying very soon.
Wyandotte Chickens were developed in New York State and Wisconsin in the late 19th century and come in many colors. The Blue Laced Red Wyandotte is a buff color with blue lacing. However, the blue color in chickens does not breed true, and you may receive blue, black, or splash chicks.
Wyandottes make a good dual purpose breed. Hens lay a good number of large light brown eggs. Wyandottes are very nice birds and are an excellent family friendly breed.
Average mature weight: Roosters 8 1/2 lbs., Hens 6 1/2 lbs.
