Blue Ameraucana
The Blue Ameraucana is a striking and sought-after breed known for its beautiful slate-blue plumage and signature blue eggs. Developed in the United States, true Ameraucanas are valued for their unique coloring, calm temperament, and consistent egg production—making them a favorite among backyard enthusiasts and collectors of specialty breeds.
Hens typically lay 150–200 medium blue eggs per year, adding a beautiful pop of color to any egg basket. Blue Ameraucanas are also known for their gentle, friendly nature and distinctive features, including muffs, beards, and a pea comb, which helps increase cold tolerance.

PICKUP POLICY
Chick orders at our Stansbury location are available for pickup on Saturdays. While we make every effort to fulfill your preferred pickup date, please note that we cannot guarantee your order will be ready on that specific day. Once your pickup date is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.
The Friday before your scheduled pickup, we will send a second confirmation email that includes your final order details, verification that your chicks hatched as expected, and any additional pickup instructions.
All orders must be picked up on the Saturday they are scheduled. Orders not picked up on their scheduled date are considered abandoned and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
If your order includes a shortage (a breed that did not hatch as expected), the remaining chicks on your order must still be picked up as scheduled. For any chicks unavailable due to a hatch shortage, you may choose one of the following options at pickup:

Replace the shortage with chicks currently in stock, or

Move the unavailable chicks to a future pickup date.
There is no guarantee of mortality or morbidity once the poultry leaves our store. Please carefully check your chicks before you leave.
